Series 00 aluminium microphone boom 2-Section with G-Lock. Gitzo's new range of aluminium booms have features and materials normally only available for top of the range models. All aluminium booms now feature our latest aluminium tube, 30% lighter than its predecessor, with Anti Rotation System (ALR), 1.2mm wall thickness and brushed matt black finish for improved locking performance and minimised reflectivity. The new tube allows for dramatic weight reduction and, thanks to ALR, aluminium booms are now incredibly quicker, easier and more precise to operate. And the innovative G-Lock system is now available on aluminium models. G-Lock, until now available on 6X models only, allows for even faster and stronger locking and increases rigidity by 20%. The improvement is very important as rigidity is a key performance for microphone booms. All 6X carbon fibre and aluminium booms come with a smart Gitzo cleaner and a convenient anti-dust bag for storage and packing.

	G-lock G-Lock is the new Gitzo leg locking system. The locking mechanism has been completely redesigned in order to achieve a 20% increase in rigidity, faster operation and stronger, safer locking. G-Lock's special design also provides a ''gravity lock'' effect: the higher the load applied vertically to the leg, the stronger the lock.
	ALR We have introduced a new Anti Leg Rotation system, which means the tripod can be opened in less than 15 seconds. Simply loosen all the twist locks on each leg at the same time, then pull the leg down and tighten the locks individually.
