Manfrotto 055XPOB Professional Tripod Legs

Designed for the professional photographer, this is an extremely versatile tripod, ideal for small, medium format cameras, digital or film. The tripod has a special centre column support that easily re-fits as a horizontal lateral arm, this allows the camera to be offset from leg position, and provides the simplest way possible to shoot from directly overhead. The incredible flexibility of the leg angle setting (90°) has forced us to design a special low angle adapter that has been incorporated in the centre column. To complete the selection of accessories included a set of two leg warmers. Diameter legs in mm: 30,25,20. Same as 055PRO, but black. PATENTED.  

Flip lever leg locks make opening, positioning and closing fast and easy. The tension of the locking mechanism is user-adjustable, and all parts can be easily serviced or replaced. 	The built-in, carefully hand-set bubble spirit level helps make sure your horizons really are horizontal		Anti-rotation tubing and leg collars make for a tripod (or monopod) that's easier and faster to open, position and close. Manfrotto uses several different types of anti-rotation system - on Magfiber and Digi series tripods, the elliptical or three-faceted shape of the concentric tubes means they cannot rotate, while on round-tubed tripods small protrusions down the length of the tube keep sections perfectly aligned	Each of the legs can be set to a different angle of spread for more flexible, versatile positioning and to help keep camera equipment well-balanced over the tripod's center of gravity.	The patented PRO model has a unique design which allows the center column to be used horizontally as an extending arm, or vertically (both right-way-up and upside-down). When used horizontally, it can be turned through 360° around the tripod, and is useful for macro work, low angle shooting, extreme balance points and off-centre work. This also makes the tripod a helpful accessory for chair-bound photographers, who can sit beside instead of behind the tripod, therefore much closer to the camera viewfinder.
Four pre-set independent leg angles give the tripod great positioning flexibility and versatility, and allow all intermediate heights from the stated minimum to maximum levels to be reached. Stability is assured at all 4 angles by the spring-loaded step mechanism.	Foam leg warmers protect your hands when using the tripod outdoors in extremely cold or hot weather, and help to avoid damage to the tripod during transport.

Manfrotto 498RC2 Quick Release MIDI BALL HEAD 

With its solid aluminum construction and phenolic resin ball, this head is the ideal support for all traditional or digital small or medium format cameras. It features separate fast action "ratchet" locks on 360° pan and +90 -90° tilt movements. You can position your camera anywhere in 180° sphere with confidence and ease. Equipped with a quick release 200PL camera plate system with a secondary safety catch. Camera plate has 1/4" male thread. Head to tripod attachment is 3/8" female. Optional Plates: 200PL-38, 200 PLARCH-14, 200 PLARCH-38    

Sturdy all-metal construction	The double 90° groove (one on each side of the head) means switching from landscape to portrait is convenient however you're set up	The compact, rectangular 200PL quick release plate system fits neatly under small-bodied still cameras up to SLR (even with tele lenses) or small medium format, or under small video cameras or spotting scopes. Its rubber pad gives a good grip without damaging the camera, and its angled sides ensure that it also fits perfectly and tightly into a wide range of Manfrotto heads	This head features a secondary security lock so you can't accidentally release the plate (and camera) without meaning to. The lock stops the quick release lever from opening fully.
A repositionable ratchet means that the locking lever's action will never be blocked either open or closed by interference with the camera body, tripod shoulder, etc... simply pull the lever outwards and it's free to be positioned more comfortably without affecting the locking mehanism. Then you can continue tightening or loosening the knob.	A separate lock on the panoramic axis allows for rotation adjustment or panning to be carried out without losing framing
